Flood Relief Campaign

EasyParcel in collaboration with Nationwide Express launches “Flood Relief Campaign” to collect donations on necessities and food supplies to be channeled to flood victims.

The campaign was carried out at Suntech @ Penang Cybercity, Ground Floor lobby yesterday. We have set up a booth and collection area to collect donations on necessities and food supplies from fellow lovely Penangites.

Besides food, among other donated items include shampoos, toothpaste, cleaning materials, diapers, sanitary pads, toiletries and other essential items.

Sunshine Online was there to provide online purchase and delivery services to donors that intended to make some on-spot donation.

The campaign starts at 10 am and you can see overwhelming respond from the public. Pictures below.

Exabytes, EasyParcel and Nationwide flood relief campaign

More and more donations are coming in during and after lunch hour.

The collected items will be transported by Nationwide Express to flood relief collection center at TUDM Kota Bharu. Items will then be distributed to the affected areas by TUDM (Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia).

Nationwide Express arrived at Suntech lobby at 8pm for collection. Special thank to volunteers from EasyParcel, Sunshine Online and Nationwide for helping out during the loading process.

All items are predicted to arrive at TUDM, Kota Bharu on 2nd January. The detailed schedule for the delivery process is as below:

30 Dec 2014, 7pm – Collection by Nationwide Penang from Suntech lobby, Penang
31 Dec 2014 – Arrival at Shah Alam Nationwide hub
02 Jan 2015 – Arrival at tempat pengumpulan barangan banjir TUDM Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Yesterday, the collaboration saw at least five tonnes of food and consumer goods being mobilized to flood victims in the East Coast. The campaign was a success and we were overwhelmed with the warm respond.
